Hi, I am a sake lover living in Hokkaido. I am a completely different person from the famous singer.

Any reader who has the great sense to come to my blog will be well aware that not everyone drinks sake if he or she is Japanese. In other words, there will be fewer opportunities for sake to be communicated outside of Japan, which I felt was a shame.

There are websites that systematically introduce sake. However there are far fewer ways to learn how Japanese people actually enjoy sake. And when it comes time to enjoy sake at home, you may be confronted with a variety of questions. How should I drink it? How do I preserve it at home? What kind of food goes with it? Do I have to commit seppuku if I break the etiquette? I would like to answer these kinds of questions in a way that is easy to understand.

I hope that this blog will be helpful to those who are interested in sake. I would be happy if you could share your thoughts with me. Thank you.
